Assembly of electrical harnesses

Harness assembly is the final stage of production, where all components – wires, connectors, markings and covers –
are combined into a complete, functional product. It is here that the team’s experience and precision of workmanship determine the reliability of the harness.

Precise assembly of electrical harnesses

STAGES OF ASSEMBLY OF THE ASSEMBLIES

Taping

The process of securing and organising cables using insulating and fabric tapes.

Marking

Each cable and connector is marked in accordance with the documentation – Hitachi printers and heat-shrinkable markers.

Braiding

The cable braid protects the harness from abrasion, temperature and moisture, ensuring aesthetics and durability.

Twisting

Cable strand grouping using Pro Twist Basic devices – precise, programmable twisting.

Safe production of sensitive electronic circuits

Depending on project requirements, part of the production hall can be converted into an ESD (Electrostatic Discharge Protected Area – EPA) zone, providing protection against electrostatic discharge.

All assembly processes are carried out using antistatic tools, earthed workstations and ESD protective clothing.

How we handle IDC connections

We select IDC connectors and crimping tools according to the geometry of the tape/cable and project requirements. For single series, we use hand tools, and for larger volumes, we use semi-automatic stations.

Quality control of harness assembly

Each harness undergoes multi-stage quality control – from visual inspection, through electrical continuity tests, to mechanical tests of connectors. The control is carried out in accordance with IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards and the customer's design documentation.
